Hopeless?

I wonder if anyone actually ever called the Crisis Hotline from this bridge. I mean, if they're at that point, are they really going to stop to read the sign, and then break down and pick up the phone? Or maybe they're just trying to give themselves a slight bruising. Good thing it clearly states that "Jumping from this bridge is fatal and tragic". Well, hopefully they won't pick this day among all of them to choose to end it all. Or if they are, hopefully they can use their cell phone to call the Crisis Hotline. I tell ya, that would be enough to push them over the edge. Here they come out to this bridge, ready to end it all, and then they see there is a glimmer of hope....except....
